Our Story

Nearly four decades of training servant-leaders

History

Andhra Bible College traces its origins to the vision of Dr. V. Daivabhimani, whose heart was burdened for training young men and women for gospel ministry. Founded on June 7, 1987 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jeeva Ratnam Burga, the college began in rented facilities across Eluru before God provided six acres at Vanguru in 1998.

In 2003, a multi-purpose college block was inaugurated by Dr. Dave Sproul, then General Director of IBM, opening a new chapter on our expanded campus. Today ABC continues toward its vision of training God-honoring church planters and Christian leaders — on campus and, since our Online Bible Education program launched, in seven countries around the world. ABC is a ministry of Indian Baptist Church, Eluru.
